advice on these two external portable HD's

Wonder if anyone out there could advise me on external hard drives, portable, without power:

these seem like the best out there at the moment - these seems to be a fair amount of different in price.

I'm no expert, but can anyone point out why the Iomega is more expensive? surely not just because of it being a bit smaller?

Looking at our NZ price watch website, I note that I can buy a Hitachi 2.5" 500 Gb drive for £107, plus an enclosure for about £4, so the £100 price looks favorable. I've read some pretty scathing reviews of Iomega external drives, so take what note you will of that. See this re the Buffalo drive:
