OSX Leopard vs SONY LCD TV as monitor

I recently upgraded my mac mimi from Tiger to Leopard. Now that I have I can no longer use my SONY LCD Color TV (Model: KLV-S32A10) as a monitor. When I boot up I get the grey screen with the apple fine then I get a quick blue screen then when it finishes booting up I get a B&W vertically striped screen that only shows a small section of the upper left corner of a normal screen. I can launch System preferences but I cannot see it on the screen. The TV worked great as a monitor until I did the OSX upgrade. Any help is appreciated.

Try booting into "Safe Mode" -- turn off the mini, then boot it up... immediately hold down Shift as it boots until you boot into Safe Mode.

Safe Mode should display on your TV -- if it does, head on over to the System Preferences > Displays pane and select the correct resolution. Verify that it works and you have video -- then reboot and (cross fingers) it should work.
