Fan concern in Macbook white 07

hi all
i have a serious concern with my macbook a
MAcBook White
DoP Jan '07
2Ghz Core2Duo 2G Ram Leopard

The Fan is running @ a constant 6200rpm or more and it gets heated up with just 30min of browsing and i had this grey screen asking me to shut down the mac 4times in a weeks span... also the system temp as measured by isat nano widget is aways around 60'C
can someone guide me on what could be a possible reason for this high temp and heavy fan !!!

Try opening Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor and see what processes are running. Are you running any Anti-virus software as this is a common culprit ?

i am not running any anti virus dude....as far as i can see its just my browsers safari n firefox
itunes
my bluetooth agent - for MOTOROKR -S9 - wireless bluetooth headphones
just the above 3 which r using a major portion of the memory
you think tht might be a culprit???

With 93% idle CPU it should be fine. Change the tab from My Processes to All processes to double check that figure. Otherwise I would suggest running the
Apple Hardware test to see if everything looks OK.

I don't have my Macbook with me at present, but I will check it later and let you know temperatures and fan speeds for comparison.
