| Macbook Pro refuses to accept DVD's
-Macbook Pro 2.2Ghz Core 2 duo Movies on a DVD will not show up in the finder menu or desk top, and will promptly be spat out. The system will not see or recognize them. This only occurs with DVD movies, as music cd's, data dvds, software dvds, even games on the windows partition all work fine. (Movies don't work on the windows partition either) I have already tried it on a different account and repairing permisions. I'm pretty sure its not a region issue, as I do not get the region locked error because it doesn't even get that far. And it only does that with dvd's. |

If they work neither in Mac OS X or Windows, it's _obviously_ a hardware problem. Have the DVD drive replaced.
