Just bought a 24" Cinema display with LED backlighting. It has a mini-Displayport connector that doesn't plug into anything? I have a video-card with DVI and Displayport outputs. Is there: 1. displayport to mini-displayport adapter cable? 2. DVI to mini-displayport converter? This last 2nd part probably won't work due to DVI being a lower standard than Displayport. BUT NO... that didn't stop the Apple Store idiots from selling me a mini-Displayport to DVI adaptor. That's ONLY for hooking up the new MacBooks with mini-Displayport outputs to DVI monitors. So, what I can do to use my new 24" Cinema display with mini-Displayport? |

Currently, there are no adapters to DVI or DisplayPort. You'll need a current - MacBook (alu) - MacBook Air - MacBook Pro - Mac mini - iMac - Mac Pro in order to use the current display.

Are there any PCIe cards with mini-DisplayPort outputs?
