Xbox 360 > Mac mini > Soundsticks

Hey Folks,

I want to use my trusty harman / kardon Soundsticks to blast my Guitar Hero jammings, but since they are USB, I don't think they'd work with a device like the Xbox 360 (the 360 has USB ports; it's the driver that would be the problem I think).

I think the solution is to connect a Y-adapter (left/right female connector to male minijack / see attachment) to my Mac mini, then use a utility like LineIn to route the audio to the Soundsticks.

Does that sound like a good way to go?

That should work fine. Nice way to do it! If you want to go further, get a USB line-in, like Xitel's INport: http://www.xitel.com/USA/prod_inportdl.htm. I have one and use it with my Mac.
