Question Cleaning the inside of a G4.

Dunno if Im posting in the right underfora but here I go...

I have no place (right now) to place my G4 but on the floor beside the desktop.

Ive opened the G4 a couple of times and know that there are open places for the ventilation to work, hence having it on the floor increases the risk of dust here and there.

Question: is it ok to carefully vacume the inside on occation (when the puter is unplugged - pun intended!) ?

Any tips before I get electricuted?

(Silly question, I know)

/G

I suggest you get a can of compressed air and blow the dust out.

I dont know what a can of compressed air is but I get the drift
Blowing out the stuff is better than the opposite with a vacume cleaner.

Kensington makes Dust Blast. It is the same things as boaters use with a horn attachment. You should be able to get it at any office supply store or computer store. It's just a can of air under preasure. Using that is safer than a vaccum cleaner or you blowing on it.
