iSync 1.1 breaks Palm conduit

After "upgrading" to iSync 1.1, I lost my little Palm icon in iSync. "No problem," I thought, "I'll just open Conduit Manager and reselect Enable Palm." No luck.

Has anyone gotten their Palm syncing working again after upgrading to iSync 1.1?

In some fine print, I found this iSync 1.1 Palm Conduit download at apple: http://www.apple.com/isync/download/index.html#palm

Hope this solves the problem.

ok, I have a general question on Palm, I have a crappy m100, it was a gift some years ago, basically I use it as a phone book and calendar. Is it worth paying $30 for the USB connection to link it to my G4? I mean what Palm apps out there are a must have? Am i missing anything? Or is this model so outdated that it will stay a paper weight and phone book? O, and it makes a good alarm when I travel.

I like mine primarily for the main Palm apps (though I'm writing this on my new Tungsten C) and syncing them with AddressBook and iCal.

To sync with your Palm device, you have to go to the Conduit settings and make "DO NOTHING" the DEFAULT setting. It took me an hour to realize this.
