Powerbook Cases Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on cases for my Powerbook? Apple have some nice stuff by Incase, for example: http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObje...5.10.3.11.13.0 I am not sure if that will provide enough protection though. I want something smooth and swish, but causual, light and has room for an iPod. Cheers ![]()

I bought the incase from apple. its nice since its a sleeve and makes for easy transport of your powerbook. Some draw-backs i had with mine, is that it is not a protective carry case. the material is very thin and any hard, penetrating object can easily damage your powerbook cover. My shoulder strap actually broke where it is stitched to the actual case. this caused my powerbook to swing to the ground, leaving a huge dent and causing me to get a new hard drive. The case is also not big enough if you have other peripherals. I carried around a mouse, headphones, and AC adaptor. I did manage to make all this fit, however, it did not look like a sleeve any more. I now simply use a standard backpack. peace.

I want one of those Brenthaven ones http://yourmaclife.com/parisexpo/vids/brenthaven.mov If not, I'll get a sleeve to put it in, and toss it in a regular backpack...

Think I might get a sleeve. Those Brenthaven ones look cool, but a bit too expensive for my liking.

| owaters I use the sleeve cases and the racer x bags by Waterfield you can find them at: http://www.sfbags.com sleeve cases is excellent (with D rings and strap) for just the laptop (although you can get what they call a "piggyback" bag for a few essentials) The racer x is a great travel bag - enough space for iPod, iSight, charger, optio S and easy access to wallet, passport and plane tickets! Hope this helps...
