I while ago I bought a used 17" studio display (crt. The last crt that apple made. It has a clear case.).
I love the monitor, but it is my second one, and does not have a long cord so it requires my tower to be in a less than desireable place. I have looked at the adc extension by dr bott but I noticed that it says this:
"ADC Extension also works with all ADC displays currently on the market. We have specifically tested ADC Extension with the Apple 15" and 17" Studio Displays, the Apple 22" and 23" Cinema Displays and the Formac 1740 Gallery Display.
ADC Extension is not compatible with Apple's now discontinued 17" CRT display."
Is it possible that they only mean the older 17" crt which doesn't have an adc cord? Or that it only works with the flat panel lcd displays. I have sent dr bott an e-mail but they don't seem to be wanting to reply.
Does anyway knows if my monitor is compatible.

PowerPC G4 867
512 mb
LaCie 19"
I don't really have any other cool
hardware
I believe it only works with the LCD Panels. Apple no longer has CRT Displays on their web site. Only Mitsubishi's .
