iPod volume limit

is there any way to get the iPod to play louder? i mean, normally on portable devices like this(walkman, discmans etc) there is this little button to push, to get passed the "recommended amximum volume".. i realise there is no such button - physically - but is there anywhere inside the prefs i can go about to make it play louder...?

also, if i pre-adjust the volume in the mp3-id-tag in iTunes, will this stick to the song when it plays on my pod? is this a "normal" part of the mp3-id or is it solely meant for iTunes...?

alex.

Ah, you're in Europe, and for some reason, there's a limit on the maximum volume for the iPods in that area.
