Can the iPod Mini 'shuffle'?

I was lookin'@ getting an iPod, but my iTunes folder is less than 2 gigs,
so the smaller size of the mini is attractive. But I note that the iPod lists 'shuffle' as an option, but not the mini.
This would be a deal breaker for me, I always suffle iTunes on my iBook and can't imagine being without this feature. Hopefully, this is not another example (Powerbooks and iBooks) of my buddies @ Apple downbuilding one product to sell me up to another.

Its right there in the iPod updater!
