DVD burner + hard drive

Is there any such thing as a DVD burner and hard drive combo?

i.e.

• 100Gb of storage so you can work on all your iMovie/DVD projects.
  
• Don't have to worry about having enough hard drive space to burn DVDs (i.e. you have to have at least 4Gb free)
  
• The DVD drive could get info directly from a hard drive customised to send it data (would this make any kind of speed difference?)
  
• One firewire (or USB 2.0) connection gives you 2 drives
