| how do i format this? i have a DVD-R containing Halo movie files, since I burned it initially, i have more files to add on (mostly RvB ). So i figured i could erase all the contents and start over, i really dont want to waste a one of those disks. So Disk Utility wont do it, even when i unmount it. How do i format it? Or is there a better option than just deleting and reputting all that stuff back on? |

| You can't re-use an already-burned DVD-R. They're writable only once, and that's it. To be able to re-use DVD-Recordable disks, you'll need to get some DVD-RW (not DVD-R) disks.
