Hi, i need to know if i have a 7200rpm hardist or a 5400 rpm hardisk. I am using Os 10.1. in 9 i had a system profile to check my "internals".

Is there not a equevilant in OsX?(except for checking out my RAM??)

Run Apple System Profiler to get the drive's manufacturer and model number. Then visit the manufacturer's support page to get the drive specifications.

I don't think the More Info button existed in 10.1... I don't think it appeared until 10.2.x...

In any case, all it does is launch Apple System Profiler, so you can do that manually. It is in /Applications/Utilities...

FYI, this doesn't belong in the How-to forum. This forum is for posting how-to guides and not for questions.
