| I've done this. Over the years, my mailbox has accumulated thousands and thousands of emails thanks to being subscribed to many mailing-lists. Mail.app has gotten fairly unresponsive and took about 10 - 15 seconds to start up. After running this command, Mail.app starts up instantly! Definitely give this a go. |

| hey, you might try this--- speedmail--- shareware download at homepage.mac.com or go to versiontracker.com and download it and install. it really reved up my mail on os10.5.2 on my mac. dickster----------------------------------------------------- |
