| I have no contract. I'm not sure if many know this, but it's not necesary to sign with AT&T for two years in order to own a feature-complete iPhone. They don't advertise it, but I told them that I wanted to have a prepaid plan (something they call a "GoPhone"). I pay the same amount of money every month, and have the same data package everbody else does... minus any legal ties to the lovely company. It only took me a bit of prying and about an hour and a half of troubleshooting over the phone to get iTunes to activate my iPhone. Just wanted to spread the word, G.

| I was hoping to do that with the iPhone to, I have like a "Pick Your Plan-GoPhone" thing, so that would work perfect for me, gives me hope for an iPhone.

| Do you get a SIM in the box? I assume you do, and it's just attached to whatever plan you choose.

| Usually, you get a sim card when you sign up with the company and they have to put the information on it, so I doubt it will come in the box.
