| help with new Mac? (Ibook) and itunes
Hi, I am hoping someone will help! I have just got my first mac, and I am trying to put my itunes from my ipod to my new ibook, but it keeps saying it cannot convert files from windows. How do i do that then? I thought it would automatically and i have no idea how to get them from my PC? any ideas as my ibook keeps asking to restore my ipod, and clear it!Thanks, Jackie xx |

The easiest way is to copy the iTunes files from your PC. You'll find these files in My Documents --> My Music --> iTunes. You could use your iPod as a drive to copy the files across, or network the two machines together, or simply burn a CD or DVD of the files.

Snaffle, if you intend to use both your Windows machine and your Mac, you'll have to decide which one the iPod is going to sync with. I believe you will have to reformat your iPod for use with your Mac, assuming you want to use it with your Mac. Let us know how it works for you (or doesn't and we'll try to help further). Doug
