*HackSputterwheeze* not warranty... AppleCare X_X;

What do you expect from something a bit bigger than a hard drive (with a non-solidstate HD) that is shaken up a lot?

My Photo's (4.5 gen?) clickwheel went out and my genius buddies promptly swapped it out for a replacement.

It's still Dead...

So, Apple is sending my iPod back to me. They say that after wiping it and reinstalling everything (something which I've done myself) it works fine. What I tried to tell them is that they have to try to put music on it, then disconnect it and connect it again and it'll die... they don't seem to understand that. Apparently, Apple's idea of "testing" is reinstalling the firmware and turning it on. If it turns on it's "fine" and they send it back.

wow.

I'm so impressed.

$5 says the thing is still broken and will crash and burn the second I try to drop a few songs on it.

Anyone care to get in on the poll? I'm counting myself as 1 "It'll die"... or rather "It's still Dead"

I expect it to last longer than a year... especially if I dropped $400 bucks on it. Seem too much to expect?

Ipod Still Broken!!!

Apple is nothing but a bunch of nug-tugging weanies!

I get my iPod back after 4 days of them "looking at it" and how is it? Broken! I don't think they even looked at it... it was on the same screen, in extras in the clock area, as when I sent it in!

It took 3 hours on the phone with "tech support" and holding the sputtering piece of crap up to the phone for them to admit that it was dead and agree to send me a new one. TOOLS!

I won't even go into what a pain in the *ss even getting to talk to a real person was! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!

I will never buy another iPod for as long as I live -- I would have to be an *sshole to do so.

crApple can bite my nugs!

Don't care. While I understand that this kinda service makes customers mad, I want to point out that this forum is _not_ the place for such posts... No matter what nug means.
