iPod Music Directory Structure

Just a thought, who knows if the right developer from Apple reads here, which I'm sure someone does.

With ipods getting larger in disk space every year. This allows us to have more and more artists to scroll through. So many artists that it almosts makes it painful to scroll from A Tribe Called Quest all the way to Zach de la Rocha. I would like to see my artists organized in an alphabetical directory like All, #, A, B, C, D, etc.

Also, having my Address Book on my iPod to show my contact categories would make searching 1000 contacts alot easier.

Address Book categories is a brilliant idea. Alphabetised music I'm not so keen on, personally.

I agree: that's what playlists are for.
