Beatles lose their court battle with Apple over iTunes Store

Yes, this is quite interesting... the explanation by the judge was just blah.

But Mr Justice Edward Mann ruled that the computer firm used the apple logo in association with its store, not the music, and so was not a breach.

So, in a sense Apple was selling the store and not the music. Though I am very pleased, I hope he goes into further details as to how to he got to through this proof. I'm going to check my Ipod to see if there isn't any subliminal messages that say "we are selling the store, not music"

Sometimes if you aren't lucky or bright enough you still may have a shot at gold since there are a lot of idiots running a muck in this world, just stick your foot out once in a while and I'm sure you'll trip one or two in your lifetime.

So, now I wonder who is going to pay up the legal fees on the losers end, and will we ever see The Beatles on itunes... I think maybe never with this. If I got my balls kicked in by someone I was suing the last thing I would do would go fufill their first wish. I wouldn't doubt if The Beatles gave every, Tom, Dick, Harry and Jane the rights the The Beatles catalog and forever banned the used of the Beatles songs on the ipod. If they could they would probably create a song that caused each and every one of our ipods to explode when their song was played on it.

i've heard rumour that the beatles back catalogue is being digitally remastered again, this time most probably for digital download services.

Apple Corps didn't have their "balls kicked in" by Apple Computer -- Apple Corps sued Apple, and Apple defended itself. How is that getting "kicked in the balls" by Apple Computer, especially since Apple Computer didn't make the ruling -- an independent judge did? Wouldn't the judge be the one doing the ball kicking?

Wow... yeah, Apple Corps is that vindictive, aren't they? They rightfully lose a court case, so they turn to preschool antics and try and cause damage to the product consumers of the company they lost to, not to mention GIVING their music away? Uh huh. Sure. That sure would look great when they appeal this decision, now wouldn't it?
