Greek text on iPod colour?

I can type in Greek in TextEdit, save the file as Unicode (UTF-16), and drag it into my iPod Notes folder.

In OS10.4 I can use accented Greek characters in TextEdit but, when the file is loaded onto the iPod, it omits the accented characters. They aren't displayed incorrectly - they simply aren't displayed at all.

Anyone ever tried uploading Greek notes to an iPod? Any Greek users out there?

Martin
