iPOD Video 30gb Screen problem ...

Hi i have a question about my ipod video. Can you tell me what might be the problem if you replace the screen (LCD) and the LCD after the replacement work but it dosn't show any thing on it... it is just bright white screen with nothing on it ? Or do i have to do something like configure the LCD or something after i replaced it ?
