4G B&W iPod restore

Hey all,

I had to restore my iPod here at work and it is now requiring to be plugged into the wall outlet, which I left at home, to finish the flash update. Is there any way to force it to do it without plugging it in? I have a usb plug here, but that doesn't seem to work.
