What kind of iPod?

I carry around just the USB sync/charge cord for my Nano and have no problems traveling, as long as I can find a USB port. Even if the port is not USB 2 or there is no iTunes installed, it will still charge. By the way, double check to ensure the hotel's computer has USB ports.

I'd really consider getting one of those iPod chargers.. there's 3rd-party ones that are cheaper (and uglier) than the Apple one, and charging from the hotel's (central?) computer may cause problems, such as theft, inability to charge, other people charging their iPod..

Hehe. I'm invisioning an age where all iPod-carrying hotel-goers congregate around the almighty Generic PC of Numerous USB Ports™.
