Modding Ipods...

Is their any way to mod the firmware of a 5th-Generation (30gb & 80gb Video Ipods) ipod from a Mac? I've seen IpodWizzard but that is for windows, and I don't have a windows.

I've tried alterPod, but it won't work with 5th-generation Ipods.

If you want to completely do away with the iPod firmware, you could try iPod Linux - http://ipodlinux.org/Main_Page

It could be bad, though. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Here's something less drastic:

Already have linux, don't really like it.

And the 2nd link is Ipodwizard, which is Windows Only.
