iPod questions 2!!!

Hey guys,

I am currently a newb to the whole ipod and mac thing still, however i have 2 questions.

1. I know that when u plug an ipod into a mac, it will load in iTunes. This will then copy all the music in the library over to the ipod and also place it in the library? CORRECT?

If so, how do i make it so that when my ipod plugs into the mac. Only the music i SPECIFY goes onto the ipod and thats all???? A script or somethign of that nature? Any recommendations will help.


2. I want to ensure that everytime i come to my mac, that my library is cleared. I do not want any songs left over from my sisters ipod or anything. Is there a way to clear the library, or have it automatically clear? A script again?
