Cannot use Ipod Shuffle 2nd Gen in 10.3.7

Hi, i cannot seem to use my 2nd generation ipod shuffle on my mac, it is running 10.3.7
When i plug it in to the USB slot it doesn't appear anywhere at all, i tried downloading itunes 7.2 which i knew it needed but i cannot use that with 10.3.7

Is there anything at all i can do?

Wink

Have you made sure that your shuffle is on when you plug it in?
I have to tap play to use my shuffle. Try that.
If not. Go to Apple Menu > About this mac > go to your USB devices > and does it appear?
If it does. go to <harddrivename>/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilties Find your shuffle and click Verify Disk Permissions.
This should work. If not try clicking format insted.
Hope this helps.

You need to update to iTunes 7 for support of your shuffle, and before you can do that, you must update to OS X 10.3.9.
Here's a link to the updater for that.
