| Installing New Languages on iPod
I want to install the Serbian language on my iPod with the Cyrillic letters (Russian letters) (these are used for Serbian as well). Is there a way to download this language on to my iPod, so I can select it like any other language? (OR is there a way for me to translate each word on the iPod to the language myself and have it displayed as a language?) Thanks in advance!

No such installable things for the iPod. The firmware comes with a few select languages. If the one you want isn't in it, there's no way of getting it.

| Even with the use of certain hacks and things, there's no way?

Not that I'd know of. The only hacks that would maybe enable it remove the iPod's software and install some form of linux, which greatly reduces the usability for me. And even so, I'm not sure there are any language-related projects...

They do add them ... slowly. So for instance Russian (and Polish??) was/were added not long ago. All depends on where they sell .. and how much they are being asked for. So one place to get additional visibility would be apple discussions board. Just saying that you'd like to get that language support. Or call AppleCare and ask them to file a request - they can't obviously just do the application itself on the phone, but the more requests the more likely / the faster it will get there.
