| 'Search' function on iPod? NEED HELP!
Okay, I've got two 30GB iPod videos (one white, one black). The black iPod's about a year older than the white. The white iPod has a search function, whereas the black iPod does not... They are both synced to my Mac, which currently runs 10.3.9. I've got iTunes 7.4.2. As well as iPod software (1.2.1). I don't understand why my black iPod doesn't have a search function?! Ultimately, it doesn't matter, but I'm really curious as to why this is. If you need any other information I'd be happy to give it to you. |

The white iPod is 5.5G, whereas the black iPod is 5G. 5.5G was an update from the 5G iPods that included the search feature and a couple other things.

Ooooh thanks for the response! May I ask what other features the 5.5G has over the 5G?
