IPOD Songs Synched to another computer

How do I get songs from a different computer (than the one I used to sync my ipod) to put on my ipod? It says your only allowed to use one computer for your songs, but now I put them on my laptop and want to put the new songs that I downloaded onto my IPOD, how do I do that?
Especially without losing all my songs? Please help. Thanks. Denise

iPodviewer does this. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/15864
There are other apps out there to do that too but I don't remember offhand other names.

iPod setup

if you connect your iPod to iTunes you go to preferances, then you check the box for manually updating the iPod.
then it wont sync at connection, but you may hook it up to as many different computers you want

I'm sorry, I was thinking of some older software (can't remember the version), now that box is placed under the main menu when you connect you iPod, it is located almost at the bottom of the boxes (just read through them)
