| iPod Touch is too cool for traveling.
The iPod Touch is a great tool for traveling and worthy companion to a Garmin GPS unit. Recently while traveling to New York City to see some Broadway shows, we tried to locate a Jamba Juice fruit smoothie that we knew was located near the parking lot for our car. The Garmin could not locate it because its maps are slightly outdated, however, the iPod Touch found about 8 wireless networks to join, and with its Google maps tool, it located our relative position and plotted a path to the fruit smoothie place near our car. Unbelievable! This is a great device! Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Yes... Arrived in Amsterdam at the train station late at night and could not find a cab or someone to direct me to my hotel. In comes iPod Touch, gave me a map and I walked. Took me to the front door no problem. By the way, Amsterdam is a nice town at night.
