using my ipod in my car

i bought a new car and wanted to know how i play my ipod thru the radio
it says mp3 playback..what does that mean?.... thank you

Cleo, what kind of car did you buy? Be as specific as possible.

"MP3 Playback" often means you can burn MP3s onto a CD and play the CD in your car. The advantage is you can get 100+ songs on an MP3 CD versus 20 or so on a conventional CD.

But, most new cars have some kind of jack or input for iPod playback--just say what kind of car you have.
