Dear Forum My first post, despite being a Mac user for 6 years. I bought my wife a new iPod 120Gb Class Silver for Xmas, and the first sync went off with no problems. The software version is 2.0.1. Today I have tried to update the beast as I've added lots of music to my library - and now the iPod fails to update past the 16.61Gb of music. I've been through all of the reseting proceedures (three times!) and attempted to manually add music, but the same thing happens every time. However, the photos are still adding quite happily. Would a corrupted mp3 cause it to quit or is this a known problem? Many thanks in advance for any help/advice. Burntweenie Last edited by Burntweenie2009; February 2nd, 2009 at 10:33 AM. Do you have a different Mac with a 16 GB+ music library to test with? Then you could synch to _that_ Mac for a change. If the iPod works fine there, then it's your iTunes library. If the iPod fails the different library, then it's the iPod. (Have it replaced under warranty, then.)
