Internet connection sharing with ipod touch

On my mac I connect to the internet using a 3g usb modem. I then share this connection with a Windows laptop via Airport and this works fine. Can the current ipod touch utilise such a connection as well?

Yes.

I use my iPhone tethered to My Macbook to share connection to my friends touch :P
