headset for ipod touch 2G and ibook g4??

hi there,
i am going to be leaving the country for a while and want to be able to access skype on both my ibook g4 and my ipod touch 2g.

this may be a ridiculous question, but this is new to me!
does anyone know if there are headsets available that are compatible with both ipod touch and laptop? if so, any suggestions?

thanks so much!

are you talking about bluetooth headsets?
Most bluetooth headsets will work with both (providing the ibook has bluetooth)

You could use the regular iPhone headphones.
My iPhone 3Gs headphones (the ones with the volume rocker) work with my iMac in the headphone port. The Mic and even the buttons work! but DONT work with my MacBook, they only act as regular headphones. I think your best way to go is bluetooth

You mean because the regular iPhone headset has two 3.5mm jacks that go into the headphone and the microphone connector on the iPhone?

Yeah, good point, no matter what port on my MacBook I put the headset in, it doesn't see it as a input device...

Although in my iMac it works in the headphone port as headphones, headset and lets me adjust volume on the actual headset! :S
