G3 Powerbook

Dear Volunteer Support !

If you have time to offer some advice on a bug that would be great.

I have a G3 Powerbook that originally had OS 8 on it. I then installed OS 9.1 which works fine except for 2 errors -

1) I can't get onto the internet. The error message is "The connection attempt failed: Error "-15008" was detected. The message then suggests that I check the ReadMe file for remote access but - see bug 2).

I've spent hours playing with TCP/IP settings and associated things.

2) SImple Text won't open anything and reports SimpleText cannot display this document because there is not enough memory. I've also spent a lot of time trying to sort out the memory.
