internet to work on my iMac

I have Charter cable going into my iMac OS 9.1. But I don't know what to do to pull up say "yahoo" or "google" or anything. It had been working...but now it seems stuck. Any process I should follow to configure my iMac properly?
Thanks. richkonie

Open your web-browser (eg: Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type www.google.com or www.yahoo.com into the address bar, then press Enter.

Im on Charter Cable in Suffolk Va. Works fine im on OS X 10.3.9.....if you have ethernet and a modem should work fine. They had to set it up with an Ethernet, then i was able to go wireless.

Are you connected at all? or just cant figure out how to use it?

It sounds like you need to just open up a web browser. Look for "Internet Explorer" or "Netscape Navigator" either on your desktop, or in your "Applications" or "Internet" folders.

I'd suggest using Netscape Naviagor instead of Internet Explorer, but that's just my preference.
