| HI EVERYONE.. NEW USER HERE! I have a well loved Beige G3 AV machine... Lotsa Ram, SCSI AV Drive, Dual Boot machine OSX 10.2.8 and 9.1. I would like to use it as a Digital Video Recorder. I tape a lot.. LOT of CBS shows and am about to start pumping them to DVD to send to a friend deployed overseas. I want to avoid the hassle of capturing them from the VHS by applescripting the capture or finding a program that will do it for me. I also have a ForMac ProTV TV Tuner that is giving me driver woes. But that is a different topic. I have the computer that can do it.. I just need a lil help getting the pistons to fire in the right order... so to speak. HELP Richard. |

| well, as far as i know, the av card in that thing will not work in os x, so you would have to use apple's video player under os 9 and tell it to capture at high quality, which is still rather poor, and won't look to good on dvd. maybe you should be asking about the protv thingy instead.
