My G3 Powerbook running OS9.2 has really crashed this time. After starting I get the question mark. In the past I was able to restart with the OS9 CD and restore it. Now it will not reboot with the OS9 CD when I push start and hold the C key. (The start up either stops and goes to black screen or if it continues I get the question mark and OS logo flashing on and off) I cannot start up without preferences by holding the shift key either. Using my separate CD burner, I was able to start up an Apple Hardware disc. The check hardware process was started but it locked up three quarters of the way through. Any ideas? |
