Question issues with powermac 6500 and avid video card

Hi,
I have a powermac 6500/300, that comes with video input and output.
The video card is a ATI Rage II with 2 mb of vram and a avid cinema video card for video output/input.

recently I had to reinstall mac os 8.0, and update it to 8.1,8.6,9.0 and 9.2.

But I can't find the original cds that came with my computer, I used the retail version of all of them.

OK.
My problem is that the video output doesn't work, the input is ok, i can watch tv or video from my vcr and dvd, but if I connect the computer to a TV and the turn it up, nothing appears in the TV.

Then idownloaded from apple avid cinema 1.1.3 and 1.1.5, but both don't recognize my avid video card, then I found on the web, that you can only install avid cinema from the cds that came with my 6500 because it also installs some drivers just for my 6500.
By the way, I don't know if this helps, but the system profiler recognises the avid video card in the PCI slot and says this:
PCI Slot
Card type: video codec
Card name: AVID,CINEMA
Card model: Production ASIC
Card ROM#: Not Available
Card Revision: 154
Card Vendor: 1002
So my question is: Do i need those drivers also for using the video output??

sounds like it. i have never had any luck with video out on macs, even with the apple built-in video hardware. but if you have found info that states that you got to have the cds that came with the mac, then you'd better find those cds.
