Question cross platform burning

hi ppl, I have a real huge problem. I burn cd's on my windows machine at home, (files for mac that I download online) and I take them to my studio to install (the files are only 7 mb) the super drive won't read the cdr's it just ejects them. I've burned cds with programs on my windows machine like Roxio easy cd creator 6 and CDeverywhere but nothing works all my cds burned from the G4 work, I don't know what the deal is...

Please help I'm in a bind for time.

Mac G4 867
os 9.2
superdrive

Did you try different CD-Rs? Other brand names...

And welcome to the forum!

Verbatim works fine here.
Does your mac read any CD that was burned with your pc? Such as regular data-CDs.
Did you ever try burning those isos on your mac? You know, simply burn those iso files on a CD (data CD) and try burning them on mac...

I use whatever I can find the best deals on. I have Sony, Verbatim and Khypermedia right now and all work fine.

I use Nero on a PC to burn in the ISO format and have no problem reading the CD's on a Mac.

See if the programs you're using have an option for Hybrid CD and use that.
