MUD RPG Makers for OSX

Hey my friend wanted me to programm him a MUD RPG for him so I'm wondering if there is a MUD client that lets me build an RPG like Byond except BYond cause me and my friend are having difficulties with BYond so I'm wondering if there is a good RPG Maker or a MUD client that lets me build an RPG. Thanks again.

I've just been dealing with this for the last couple of weeks. I ended up downloading SMAUG MUD, google it. SMAUG has an area editor built into the code. You need to be at god level 65 or better to create areas.

Compiling SMAUG was another problem. I had to do some rewrites in teh Makefiles and recode some of the source to get it to compile correctly, but in the end it all worked out happily.

There are many MUD area buiders for OS X that I am aware of. I searched and search and couldn't find any. There are some good ones for PCs, but none for mac.
