marathon problamo

i downloaded marathon from bungie.org (its a third party not affiliated with bungie) and marathon 2 and marothon infinity. in the level defend this! i cant get past the part with the elevator thingy. i know where you get out just how is the question. also when i run marathon infinity the menu screen of the game quadruples, gos black and white, and splits in to 4 different screens on the top. help help with either problem would be helpful
