| Where can I find mainstream game demos? I've just got my used PowerBook G4 (17"), and I'd like to see how it perform in gaming. But I was a little suprised when I realized the difficulty to find the official mac demo versions of the latest years most popular 3d games. Mainly, I'd like to know where I can download a legal copy of the Quake4 demo, let alone any Quake. What about RTCW? C'mon guys, do I have to buy the games?

| Congratulations on your new used Mac purchase. ![]() Have you tried checking the official sites for these games in their downloads section? You can also try Inside Mac Games for more information on games for your Mac.

| You might want to check out MacGameFiles for Demos, Updates and the likes. Quake 4 has no demo for the Mac BTW, maybe it'll come later, but so far there is none
