Where to get Doom2+editor

Hi

I just love the old Doom2 game and remember when I played it on my old PC.

Is it possible to download it somewhere and get the editor to make your own levels/tracks so that you can play multyplayer on?

Thank you for helping
Martin

PS. Sorry for the spelling, I'm from Denmark

Well, yes and no. Basically Doom is open source as far as I know. But, the game files are basically licensed, and have to be bought. So if you want to aquire it legally, you will have to scour online-markets or local used software shops.

The editor on the other hand should, if one exists, be free. Just google a bit, I bet there is something out there
