Mac Pro w/ 7300GT -- Funkiness in Civilization IV

Not sure whether this boils down to Civ IV itself, or whether it's a larger issue. I was just playing the demo and saw these funky lines, they don't look healthy.

I'm on a Mac Pro: 2 GHz, 7300GT, 1GB RAM...

Does this problem look familiar to anyone? (image is attached)

I have a Mac Pro with 7300GT too, but all run good, on the final version. I think this is a bug of demo.
