Every time I play multiplayer in Battlefield 1942, my game freezes every once in a while. It happens when I press a key I haven't used in a while. Like, when I didn't press "jump" for a long time, the game would temporarily freeze when I finally pressed it. Also, when the game freezes, I can hear my MAC getting louder, like it's waking up or something; then it calms down again. How can I keep my MAC from falling asleep so I can play without being interrupted? Help would be appreciated. My internet connection is wireless, but the router is like 8 feet away; so the connection is strong. P.S. I bought this game in a store, completely authentic. |

Have you changed your "Energy Saver" settings in the System Preferences so that your computer is set to never sleep?

Have you updated to the latest version? Sometimes software patches help to address issues such as these. I believe this is the latest version for Battlefield 1942, but then again, I didn't do a whole lot of searching so you may want to confirm what the latest patch version is: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...field1942.html

To add to Viro's question; how much RAM is installed and what OS version are you running?
