    Exclamation Help!

Ok, So I bought the Sims 2, Sims 2 Pets and Sims 2 Seasons recently (the mac versions) and installed them on my Macbook. The base game Sims 2 works just fine, but when I try to play the expansion packs, they install fine but when you click on the icon to play it they say "please insert the original disk" (of the base game) as if the expansion packs were never installed! Please help, because I don't know how to fix it, and I'd hate to think that I've just spent a ton of money on games that don't even work.

So... what happens if you do exactly what the prompt says, and insert the original disc?

it just plays the original game, as if the expansion packs were never installed.
