New to serverism

Hi, I am new to using Mac OS X Server. I have just brought a PowerMac G5.

I updated the os to server and want to make this machine a good web server.

Does any one know any good guides to setting it up( failr Basic)

Also a few questions:
Getting apache 2.0 running rather than 1.3.

Setting up DNS for a domain name? (Ho do i point that domain this will act as the dns name server?)

Setting up virtual Domians

Setting up individual email accounts and a catch all for each domian

Any other hints/tips and one can suggest?

Thanks

Sheldon

I'd snatch up one of the books on Mac OS X Server, or look through Apple's own online documentation. Both can get you up and running!

Use Server Admin. Most of your requirements can be done easily with it. With option WEB you can setup the WEB server, with the option MAIL you can set up mail accounts and catchall. (use workgroup manager for creation of accounts).

Good luck, Kees
